About the role#
This internship provides experience in corporate engineering through a 10 to 12-week program during Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Iron Mountain, Michigan, supporting the P&C engineering team. The role focuses on practical design projects and professional development within an electrical and electronics manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Create technical documentation including one-line diagrams, DC logic diagrams, front views, manufacturing drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Support engineering design projects based on specific requirements.
- Participate in project update meetings to gain customer-facing experience.
- Assist the team with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks while working with minimal supervision.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
