About the role#
This position offers a path for nursing students to begin their careers at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital. You will start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester and transition into an RN role once you obtain your license. This is a full-time position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for approved units.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care within your assigned unit.
- Work as a Nurse Extern II while completing your final semester.
- Transition into a Registered Nurse position upon licensure.
- Follow a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week on night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited and approved school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- You must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
