About the role#
This position is for nursing students graduating in Fall 2026 or Winter 2027. You will start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester of school and transition into a full-time Registered Nurse role once you obtain your license. This program is designed to help you begin your career at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care.
- Perform duties as a Nurse Extern II during your last semester of nursing school.
- Transition into an RN position upon receiving your license.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Wisconsin (multi-state licenses are accepted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
- You must not require employment visa sponsorship.
