About the role#
Hörmann is hiring a Shipper Receiver Student for a 1-year contract. This role is based on-site in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. You will manage the flow of materials, maintain accurate documentation, and support our production and logistics teams.
What you'll do#
- Process and maintain shipping and receiving documentation for parts and materials.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Coordinate parts availability and shipment information with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Accounting.
- Track incoming and outgoing parts while following up on shortages, damaged materials, or documentation issues.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all records remain accurate and up to date.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 3 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Minimum 2 years of counterbalance forklift operation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work habits.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
