About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support marketing and communications efforts at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems. This is an unpaid, on-site role based in Baltimore, Maryland, scheduled for the Fall 2026 term. The expected commitment is 12 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Create and edit short-form video content.
- Develop social media strategies to drive engagement.
- Assist with graphic design tasks and the production of marketing materials.
- Conduct research on current social media trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or Media Studies.
- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Express.
- Experience with video content creation and comfort appearing on camera.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to pass required clearances, including Child Abuse, criminal background, and federal fingerprint-based checks.
