About the role#
This internship offers exposure to various career paths within an insurance brokerage. You will work with team members across Personal Lines and Commercial Lines, gain insights into business operations, and contribute to client service initiatives. Interns also travel to the corporate office in Richmond, VA, to network with company leaders and participate in a volunteer event. This position may lead to full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Rotate between Personal Lines and Commercial Lines departments.
- Support the account management team with policy documentation, endorsements, renewals, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and quality checks in the agency management system.
- Join client appointments and sales meetings with producers to observe service and sales practices.
- Work on projects to improve internal processes, client experience, or operational efficiency.
- Build communication skills through interactions with internal stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Ability to commute to the Alpharetta, GA office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivation and curiosity about the insurance industry.
