About the role#
Heartland ABA is hiring Behavior Hero Fellows to join our clinical team in Lexington. You will work one-on-one with clients to provide ABA services. This role is part-time and requires a 6-month commitment. We offer paid training for those who need it, and you will have the opportunity to accumulate restricted and unrestricted hours toward your professional goals.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients.
- Use evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior.
- Implement skill-building and care plans directly with clients.
- Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
- Foster a positive learning environment and connect with families.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification is required before you begin work.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn.
- An interest in supporting children with Autism.

- Work environment: Services occur in client homes or community-based locations.

Heartland ABA provides personalized, at-home therapy for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. The organization serves individuals between 18 months and 21 years of age. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the company operates as a privately held entity. It employs between 11 and 50 people.
