About the role#
As a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our Water Business Group. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to assist with real-world infrastructure projects. This role includes opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs and site tours of water and wastewater treatment plants.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Review plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Create and review process diagrams to verify system functionality.
- Use Excel to produce or verify design calculations.
- Write and review technical memorandums and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- Understanding of water and wastewater treatment practices and systems.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu.
- Preference for candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.

- Location: Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The position follows a rolling term.
