About the role#
HDR is hiring a Water Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our Water Business Group in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
What you'll do#
You will gain real-world experience by working on projects under the direct supervision of a Project Manager or professional engineer. Your tasks include applying standard engineering techniques and procedures. You will also connect with company leaders and recent graduates through our mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biological and Agricultural Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and software related to your field of study.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local or regional candidates, those with at least two years of degree progress, and those with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
