About the role#
HDR is hiring a Water Intern for our San Antonio office. This is a paid, full-time internship that offers a chance to work on engineering projects while learning from professionals and company leaders. You will work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager or professional engineer.
What you'll do#
- Gain real-world experience on engineering projects.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Apply standard engineering procedures and techniques to your assignments.
- Handle other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: At least two years of your degree completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to the industry.
