About the role#
HDR is seeking a Water Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is an on-site, full-time, paid position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to support water projects.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Gain practical experience on engineering projects.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and demonstrate knowledge of industry-related software.
- Local candidates are preferred.
