About the role#
HDR is seeking a Water Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Philadelphia. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to gain experience on engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Participate in various project assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of software packages related to your field of study.
- A commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preference is given to local candidates.
