About the role#
As a Utility Transportation Intern, you will work within our Transportation Business Group. You will gain practical experience by working on projects alongside our professional staff. You will have the opportunity to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through our mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Participate in project work to gain real-world experience.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of coursework completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to the industry.
