About the role#
HDR is seeking a Transportation Roadway Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our Transportation Business Group to support projects that move people and goods. This role offers the chance to gain practical experience while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager.
- Participate in real-world project work.
- Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Preference is given to students pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, specifically those with at least two years completed toward their degree and a 3.0+ GPA.
