About the role#
Join HDR for a Summer 2027 internship within our Transportation Business Group. You will gain experience in transportation planning while working alongside experienced professionals on infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Fort Worth, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Participate in project work to gain real-world experience.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically in Civil Engineering.
- At least two years of degree coursework completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Basic knowledge of CADD software.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
