About the role#
HDR is looking for a marketing intern to join our transportation team in Bellevue. You will work in a cross-functional environment, assisting with business development and strategic marketing programs. This role involves collaborating with project managers and technical staff to prepare proposals, presentations, and other project materials. It requires independent research, technical writing, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality.
What you'll do#
- Write and update project descriptions and staff resumes.
- Support the development and coordination of text and graphics, including page layout editing.
- Shadow marketing staff during the preparation of proposals, presentations, and award submittals.
- Conduct research and produce various reports and documents.
- Maintain the CRM system and catalog marketing assets.
- Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs to connect with company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- At least 2 years of coursework completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry-relevant software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to our employee-owned culture.
