About the role#
As a Transportation Intern for Summer 2027, you will contribute to highway and road projects while working directly with professional engineers and project managers. This role provides an opportunity to apply standard engineering techniques and gain practical experience. You will also participate in mentoring and young professionals programs to connect with company leaders and recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Work on engineering projects under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Apply standard engineering procedures and techniques to your assignments.
- Participate in professional development and mentoring programs.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: At least two years of degree progress completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Knowledge of industry-specific software packages.
- Preferred: Candidates located in the local area.
