About the role#
We are looking for Transportation Interns to join us for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides hands-on experience across various disciplines including highway design, planning, structural engineering, rail, construction, and aviation. You will work alongside engineers and project managers on projects that impact our local communities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with roadway plan production, design details, and plan notes.
- Perform quantity calculations and support cost estimating.
- Prepare GIS maps, exhibits, reports, and presentations.
- Participate in bridge inspections and site visits.
- Conduct site observations and monitor construction progress.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Preference for students currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
