About the role#
As a Transportation Intern at HDR, you will work on highway and road projects in Albuquerque. You will gain practical experience while working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Perform assignments as directed.
- Help with other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to candidates with at least 2 years completed toward their degree, a 3.0+ GPA, and knowledge of industry-related software.
- Local candidates are preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
