About the role#
As a Traffic Engineering Intern, you will work alongside transportation planning and engineering professionals to support a variety of projects. You will gain hands-on experience by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures under the direct supervision of a Project Manager or professional. This role offers opportunities to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through young professionals and mentoring programs.
What you'll do#
- Conduct traffic studies and perform traffic design.
- Carry out data analysis and transportation planning tasks.
- Prepare technical documents.
- Support project needs as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local candidates and those who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Familiarity with software packages relevant to the industry.
