About the role#
As a Structural Intern in our Building Engineering department, you will gain hands-on experience on professional projects. You will work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager or licensed professional to apply standard engineering procedures. You will also have the opportunity to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through our mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques to project tasks.
- Assist with design assignments under professional supervision.
- Engage with the broader team through internal networking and mentorship programs.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference for candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Familiarity with software packages relevant to structural engineering.
- Local candidates are preferred.
