About the role#
As a Structural Intern in our Building Engineering department, you will gain practical experience working on projects under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or project manager. You will have opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through our mentoring and young professionals programs. We expect all interns to be active participants in our employee-owned culture.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Work on engineering projects to build real-world experience.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in professional development programs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Local candidates are preferred for this role.
