About the role#
As an SPS Engineering Intern, you will work within our Power sector to support the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to the development of reliable and sustainable power systems. This position is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience on engineering projects.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Perform tasks under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Handle other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Electrical or Computer Engineering program.
- Completion of at least 2 years toward an electrical engineering degree.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software related to your field of study.
- Attention to detail.
- Commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
Location & details#
This is an on-site role. You must be a local candidate able to report to either Billings, MT or Helena, MT. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
