About the role#
As a Site Civil Intern within the Building Engineering Services Group, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to apply standard engineering techniques. This role offers opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Work on assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference for candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study.
- Local candidates are preferred.
