About the role#
As a Roadway Intern, you will work on highway and road projects in our Pittsburgh office. You will gain experience by working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. You will also participate in mentoring and young professionals programs to connect with company leaders and recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Gain real-world experience on various projects.
- Perform assignments under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- Complete additional duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Knowledge of software packages related to the industry.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree and maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Local candidates are preferred.
