About the role#
As a Roadway Intern, you will work within the Transportation Business Group to gain practical experience on infrastructure projects. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. You will also have the opportunity to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs to connect with colleagues.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically Civil, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to students who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.

- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship located in Round Rock, Texas.
- The term is rolling.
