About the role#
As a Roadway Engineering Intern, you will work within the Transportation Business Group. You will support projects that move people and goods by helping to design and improve infrastructure systems. This position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience while working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Gain real-world experience on active engineering projects.
- Perform assigned duties under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and professional programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- A preference for candidates who have completed at least 2 years of a civil engineering degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is based on-site in either Billings, Montana, or Helena, Montana.
- The position operates on a rolling term basis.
