About the role#
HDR is seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Transportation Business group for the Summer 2027 term. This role focuses on Real Estate Services related to Right-of-Way Acquisition. You will work on-site in Fort Worth, Texas, gaining hands-on experience while working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. This is a paid, full-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in real-world project work.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to your assignments.
- Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professional programs.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preference is given to local or regional candidates pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Preference for candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the industry.
