About the role#
This internship is for students early in their career who want to learn project management methodologies, tools, and IT delivery environments. You will support the Project Controls team with foundational coordination, documentation, and reporting tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist project controls managers with administrative and coordination duties.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and meeting notes.
- Collect data for project metrics, KPIs, and dashboards using established tools.
- Coordinate information flow between project participants and subconsultants.
- Participate in project meetings and PMO ceremonies.
- Conduct basic analysis and research to support project planning.
- Learn and apply project controls standards and templates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exposure to project management concepts or coursework.
- Familiarity with project tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
- Interest in IT delivery, systems, or infrastructure.
