    About the role#

    As a Power Intern, you will work within our Power sector to support the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. You will work alongside engineers and scientists to contribute to power systems and infrastructure projects. This position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience while working under the supervision of project managers and professional engineers.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
    • Gain experience on project work.
    • Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
    • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
    • Handle other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
    • A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
    • Preferred: Completion of at least 2 years toward your degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
    • Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Round Rock, Texas.
    • This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
    • The term is rolling.
