About the role#
As a Power Delivery Transmission Intern, you will work within the HDR Power sector to support the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. You will work alongside experienced engineers and scientists to contribute to reliable and resilient power systems. This role offers the opportunity to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and professional programs.
What you'll do#
- Gain real-world experience on engineering projects.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to your work.
- Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or Project Manager.
- Connect with company leaders and peers through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: Completion of at least 2 years toward your degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Preferred: Knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.

- Location: Round Rock, Texas.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- The internship follows a rolling term.
