About the role#
As a Mechanical Intern in the Building Engineering Services Group, you will contribute to the design of infrastructure and facilities. You will work alongside mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to address design challenges. This position offers the opportunity to gain professional experience while working under the supervision of project managers.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Gain practical experience on active engineering projects.
- Engage with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Complete assigned tasks under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or project manager.
- Assist with additional duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Mechanical Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: At least two years of degree progress with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of industry-related software.
- Preferred: Local candidates.
