About the role#
As a Mechanical Intern in the Building Engineering department, you will gain practical experience by working on projects under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. You will have the chance to connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs. This role is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Contribute to real-world projects within the Building Engineering Services Group.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Mechanical Engineering program.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local candidates.
- Preference is given to students who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to the field.
