About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Co-op student to join our team in Toronto for a four-month placement during the Winter 2027 term. You will work as an important member of our mechanical team, gaining exposure to the building engineering industry while contributing to real-world commercial projects.
What you'll do#
- Work on a variety of projects related to engineering building systems for commercial facilities.
- Manage tasks across multiple projects that are in different stages of design and construction.
- Participate in mentorship to support your professional growth and development.
- Learn about the various aspects of the building engineering industry from our subject matter experts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Mechanical Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to students who have completed 3 years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Knowledge of BIM and IES VE is preferred.
- Previous experience in an engineering consulting firm is an asset.
