About the role#
As a Maritime & Ports Intern, you will work on engineering projects while receiving direct supervision from a Project Manager or professional engineer. This role connects you with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs. You will apply standard engineering procedures and techniques to support our ongoing work.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience on engineering projects.
- Connect with company leaders and peers through mentoring and professional programs.
- Apply standard engineering techniques.
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree and hold a 3.0 or higher GPA.
