About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will work on-site with the Maritime and Ports department. This role provides an opportunity to apply engineering principles to real-world projects while working under the supervision of a Project Manager or professional engineer.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Gain experience on project work and handle other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preferred: At least two years completed toward your degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
