About the role#
As a Fire and Life Safety Intern, you will gain real-world experience by working on various projects. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. You will also have the opportunity to connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.

- Gain practical experience on projects.

- Perform other duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- At least two years of degree progress completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA is preferred.
- Knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A commitment to participating in an employee-owned culture.

- This position is based in San Antonio, Texas.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship.
- Local candidates are preferred.
