About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience across finance and accounting functions at our global headquarters. You will work on projects supporting Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Financial Reporting, and Mergers & Acquisitions. This role is based in Omaha and requires you to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.
What you'll do#
- Document accounting processes and internal controls.
- Assess compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Research and discuss professional accounting literature.
- Conduct budget analysis and support financial reporting.
- Use data automation and analytics tools to support process improvement.
- Work within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Participate in Q&A sessions and engage with senior leadership.
- Deliver an end-of-internship presentation to leadership summarizing your projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field for Summer 2027.
- Completion of at least one year of your degree program with a 3.4 GPA or higher.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Exposure to or interest in data tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or Snowflake.
- Interest in AI technologies.
