About the role#
HDR is seeking an Environmental Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Dallas, Texas office and offers an opportunity to gain experience within our Resources Business group. You will work on projects under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
What you'll do#
- Participate in real-world project work.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Perform assignments under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Preference is given to local or regional candidates pursuing degrees in Environmental Science, Biology, or Ecology.
