About the role#
We are seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join our Enterprise Data Operations team for the Summer 2027 term. You will help design, build, and maintain scalable data systems that support decision-making across the company. This role offers experience with cloud data technologies and enterprise-level solutions while working alongside data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Use Snowflake to ingest, transform, and manage large datasets.
- Support the design and implementation of ETL and ELT data pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile development practices.
- Support the automation of data workflows and contribute to performance tuning.
- Explore and implement best practices in data engineering and cloud architecture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills.
