About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 within our Transportation Business Group. You will work on-site in El Paso, Texas, gaining experience in construction management and infrastructure development. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to support our field services team.
What you'll do#
- Gain real-world experience on active projects.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and professional programs.
- Travel to construction sites as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to local or regional candidates pursuing a Civil Engineering Construction Management degree.
- Preference for students who have completed at least two years of their degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the industry.
- A valid driver's license for site travel.
