About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the Building Engineering Services Group for Summer 2027. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to design infrastructure that supports modern facilities and high-performance environments. This role is based on-site in Orlando, Florida, and is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, design, and delivery of building projects.
- Prepare drawings, models, renderings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing professionals.
- Attend project meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
- Research building systems, codes, sustainability initiatives, and new technologies.
- Use industry-standard software and digital tools to support project development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Pursuit of a degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference for students who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or SketchUp is a plus.
