About the role#
HDR is seeking an Acoustics Intern to join our team in Saint Louis Park. This position offers real-world experience on active projects while providing opportunities to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through our mentoring and young professionals programs. You will work under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Assist with assignments under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- Participate in company mentoring and young professionals programs.
- Take on other duties as needed to support team objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Preference is given to candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- Local candidates are preferred.

- Location: Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The role follows a rolling term.
