About the role#
This is a full-time, paid, summer internship based in Elgin, Illinois. You will work on-site with our team to drive new product development projects through every phase, from initial concept to completion. This role provides direct exposure to industrial-grade electrical connectors and the technical side of our business.
What you'll do#
- Manage product development projects by defining goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Create risk mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
- Shadow project managers to learn how to handle budgets, resource allocation, and priorities.
- Help resolve project bottlenecks and conflicts as they arise.
- Track KPIs and prepare status reports for management.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across departments, including Sales, Customer Service, and Production.
- Study our industrial connector product line and how customer requirements impact cable assembly projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Engineering.
- A background or interest in Project Management.
