About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will work directly with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors. This role provides an inside look at how tax accounting integrates with financial services. You will assist our team in servicing clients while gaining hands-on experience as you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Work with the tax team to service client accounts.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You intend to complete your Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- You have the ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- You possess basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a self-starter who can manage competing priorities.

- This position is based in Maumee, Ohio.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a paid, rolling internship with flexible hours available for both part-time and full-time schedules.
