About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to understand the connection between tax strategy and financial services. This position offers exposure to a proactive tax planning process, including monitoring client situations and preparing projections throughout the year.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for individuals and businesses.
- Prepare tax projections to assist in client planning.
- Collaborate with the tax team to service clients.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Intentions to earn an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Strong work ethic and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with accountability.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
