About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to learn how tax accounting connects with broader financial services. This position offers hands-on experience while you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Collaborate with the tax team to service client accounts.
- Attend internal meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You intend to complete your Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- You have the ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- You possess basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- You can manage competing priorities and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
