About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to understand how tax planning fits into broader financial services. This position offers flexible hours throughout the year to accommodate your degree program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability.
- Prepare tax projections for clients.
- Assist the Tax Team with client services.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Finance or related fields are preferred).
- Intentions to complete your Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Proficiency with basic computer tasks and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic and professional accountability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, lead initiatives, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
