About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team in Okemos. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to learn how tax accounting functions within financial services. This role offers hands-on experience while you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Assist the tax team with client services.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- You intend to complete your Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- You must be able to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- You possess strong communication skills and a sense of professional accountability.
