About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to understand how tax planning integrates with financial services. This position offers flexible working hours to accommodate your degree program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Collaborate with the tax team to service client accounts.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Plans to complete an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starting attitude.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professional accountability.
